Enhancing AI literacy and digital skills for adults

Re-AI enables low-skilled adults to move confidently into remote and hybrid work by building the AI and digital competencies today's employers expect.

Adult building digital skills
Our aim

Low-skilled adults face significant challenges adapting to the rapidly evolving digital job market, particularly in remote and hybrid work.

A lack of AI literacy and basic digital skills limits their employability and career advancement. Re-AI enhances AI literacy and digital skills among low-skilled adults, enabling them to transition effectively into remote and hybrid work — improving skills in AI, productivity software and online communication platforms that are indispensable for modern work.

Link to priorities

Aligned with Europe's VET priorities

Adapting VET to labour-market needs

The project addresses critical labour-market shifts in the digital economy and remote work. By focusing on AI and digital tools, Re-AI provides the foundation for lifelong employability and work-based learning, helping adults move into in-demand roles as economic cycles and key competences evolve.

Closing the basic digital-skills gap

Many low-skilled adults are not yet proficient with basic digital tools that are essential today. Re-AI improves skills in AI, digital tools, productivity software and online communication platforms — all indispensable for remote and hybrid work.
