About the project

Enhancing AI literacy and digital skills for adults

The aim of Re-AI is to enhance AI literacy and digital skills among low-skilled adults, so they can move confidently into remote and hybrid work.

The challenge

Low-skilled adults face significant challenges in adapting to the fast-changing digital job market, especially in remote and hybrid work. A lack of AI literacy and basic digital skills limits their employability and career progress.

The aim of Re-AI is to enhance AI literacy and digital skills among low-skilled adults, so they can move confidently into remote and hybrid work.

Our approach

Learn by doing

Short lessons, then hands-on exercises with free tools — every idea is practised, not just explained.

Watch, listen or read

Every lesson as a narrated video with captions, as audio for low data, and as readable slides and text.

Safe and ethical AI

Learners check AI answers, protect personal data and know their rights under the EU AI Act and GDPR.

Recognised progress

Quizzes, exercises and a capstone project lead to a badge for each module and the Re-AI Programme certificate.

Who it is for

Learners

Adults with few formal qualifications who are unemployed or at risk, and want to move into remote or hybrid work.

  • Free, self-paced, in plain language
  • Video, audio or readable slides — your choice
  • A badge for every module, a certificate for the programme

VET educators & trainers

Teachers and trainers who want ready-made materials to teach AI and digital skills.

  • Slides with tutor notes, workbooks, quiz decks
  • Workshop session plans and assessment rubric
  • Review learners' work on the platform

Employers & stakeholders

Organisations hiring for remote roles, employment services and policy makers.

  • A clear picture of the skills Re-AI certifies
  • Join multiplier events and the final conference
  • Partner with us on pilots and placements

Link to EU priorities

Erasmus+ — Vocational Education and Training.

Adapting VET to labour-market needs

Re-AI responds to the shift to a digital economy and remote work. AI literacy and digital skills help adults move into AI-enhanced remote and hybrid jobs, supporting lifelong employability and work-based learning.

Basic digital skills for all

Many low-skilled adults are not yet confident with basic digital tools. Re-AI builds skills in AI, digital tools, productivity software and online communication — all essential for remote and hybrid work.
